This policy explains how ApproveTrail software and this website may and may not be used.
Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses this website or any software, template or resource supplied by ApproveTrail, including all permitted users and invited reviewers on an account.
Permitted use
- Using the software to manage document reviews and approvals for your own business, or for clients you work for.
- Inviting reviewers and approvers within the permitted-user limit of your package.
- Adapting workflow templates and approval stages for your own business use.
Prohibited use
- Reselling, sublicensing, redistributing or publishing the software or its templates as your own product.
- Sharing access credentials or review links beyond the permitted-user limit of your package.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent any licence, capacity or account limit.
- Uploading or storing unlawful material, malware, or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Using the software to submit documents for review that you are not authorised to share, or that contain information you are not entitled to disclose to the reviewers invited.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your authority to approve a document.
- Using the software or website to send unsolicited bulk messages or to harass any person.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to this website, its API endpoints, its server or its configuration.
- Automated scraping, load testing or any activity designed to disrupt the availability of the website or the software.
Consequences of breach
Breach of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access, without refund where misuse has caused the breach, and may be reported to relevant authorities where unlawful activity is suspected.
Reporting misuse
If you become aware of misuse of the software by another user, or believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, contact hello@approvetrail.co.uk immediately.
